Project TREE - Transfer Renewable Energy Efficiency
TREE stands for Transfer Renewable Energy & Efficiency. TREE is a German scholarship program.
The objective of TREE is to facilitate the transfer of know-how in renewable energies, energy efficiency and climate protection, for decision makers, high potentials and engineers from developing and emerging countries.
To promote capacity building, TREE offers seminars in Berlin and partner countries; as a follow-up, distance-learning courses and individual assistance. TREE supports both the evaluation of the potential for renewable energies and energy efficiency, with associated strategy development for the partner countries, and the dissemination of practical planning and installation knowledge for solar technology.
The TREE project, run by the Renewables Academy AG (RENAC), is supported by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) as part of the climate protection initiative.
